BRIDGES HELPS MAUI PINEAPPLE SPREAD AUTHENTIC ALOHA SPIRIT

Maui Pineapple Company is the largest grower, processor and shipper of Hawaiian pineapples and operates the only pineapple cannery in the United States. For nearly a century, Maui Pineapple Company has thrived as a truly authentic Hawaiian company.

The Company recently turned to Bridges Marketing Group to develop and implement a dynamic consumer sweepstakes promotion designed to showcase both Maui Gold and Maui Organic Pineapple in the produce sections of Whole Foods Markets.

Bridges developed the "Authentic" sweepstakes theme to communicate the essence of Maui Pineapple Company's rich history and their deep commitment to perpetuating Maui's agricultural future for many generations to come. The tagline, "Authentic to Nature, Our Culture, Our Customers" appeared throughout the promotional material.


Bridges Marketing Group designed and produced a direct mail and public relations campaign, an in-store and online consumer sweepstakes, and a 12 page recipe booklet which was packed inside new Bridges-designed two-pack gift boxes.

Retail display support was excellent, as Whole Foods utilized point of sale posters, case cards and take-one pads to promote the consumer sweepstakes and special gift box offering.

The results were also authentic. Retail sales of Maui Gold and Maui Organic Pineapple increased over 400% during the month long promotion at Whole Foods Market in Southern California, Arizona and Nevada.

Plus, a lucky couple from San Diego will soon enjoy a wonderful vacation to Maui, Hawaii courtesy of Maui Pineapple Company, Kapalua Resorts, and Aloha Airlines. That's what we call the Aloha Spirit.
